Welcome to Harton Vale Psychiatric Hospital. It's breakfast time, and the moon is waning gibbous.

Hailey is a good girl. She takes her medication, makes no trouble, and does whatever the nurses tell her to. She just wants to be left alone so she can get better and stop having these weird dreams where she’s eating people.

Val is not a good girl. Val would tell you she’s not a girl at all: she’s a predator, an animal… a wolf. She’s crass, aggressive and has no sense of boundaries, and she views the nurses more like prison guards than healthcare professionals.

A wolf is nothing without a pack. Val’s been building her pack up for a while, and now, she’s set her sights on Hailey. But Hailey isn’t a wolf… right?
