When Charlie’s self-insert character “Lottie” starts rebelling against him, Charlie is faced with a choice: will he ask the hard questions about who he really is and who he wants to be? Or, will he dive headfirst into fantasy and leave reality behind?

It’s tempting to just let go. If Lottie wants Charlie’s life… why not just let her have it?
